I came across a problem when trying to delete a file on updating: if the file to delete is not present applife does a rollback ending with the same version that applife tryed to update in the first place. ¿How can delete only if is present in the folder?¿should i have to do a custom action? if yes ¿could you guide me in how to accomplish this?

thanks

The Delete Files action should be skipping any files that are not present, rather than cancelling the update. Could you please post the log from the update that is failing?

As you see the file is in use by Internet Explorer, that's why it rolled back everything. Now, can you tell me a way i can enable uplife to not rollback if this happens?

Hello Jorge,

The built in delete file action will error with this condition. You will need to create a custom action that deletes your file and handles the access denied exception.  If you need help with this, let me know and I can provide assistance.
