Hello,

At the moment i'm testing the Applife update application.
It is working really well but there is something strange.
Every screen looks good and the icons also but the icon i get when downloading an update is huge. See the link. Image

When i create an new project and copy the same code there it looks good but in my existing project where i want to implement the updater the icon is huge.

Do you have any idea why this is?

With kind regard,

Frank

Hello Frank,

I am not able to reproduce this.

I'm assuming that this is the WPF Update Display control?

What is the parent element?  Can you post the xaml, or send it to techsupport@kineticjump.com?  I'll take a look at it.  If I can reproduce it, it would be easier to provide a solution.

Hello,

Finally i found out what causes this problem.
It happens when i add
DataContext="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource Self}}"
the the start of the xaml.

Any idea why this is?

Hello Frank,

Not sure why setting the datacontext on a parent would cause this.  Even with this information, I'm still not able to reproduce this.  I've looked throught the control's template and it appears that the download animiation is hard set to 16 x 16.

If this remains an issue, please create an example that exhibits this behavior and send it to tech support.  If we can reproduce it, we'll certainly correct it.
