Two dell XPS-2010's, one it installs and runs (mine), the other (hers) blows up during the splash screen with the usual "send to microsoft" pop-up.  Both XP Pro, both have similar development software installed, but of course there are going to be differences.

Dee has viewed the system requirements and they are met.  There may be a port or a service that's using a port that is inaccessible.  We're pretty smart when it comes to this stuff, but really don't like to waste precious time (we are a start-up) messing with software like this.  Unfortunately, she is writing the requirements so it must run on her machine.

We are using Serena's Prototype Composer and have found bugs in it that will prevent us from continuing to use it.  We thought we would find an "affordable" solution that had a traceability matrix and good flow characteristics.  This looks like it's worth trying, but the install always offers a clue how much testing has gone on...

We know it's the weekend but we are going to be the next Google so we never sleep or stand down.  The requirements software that get's our product built will have it's praises sung throughout heaven and earth.

Your help would be appreciated,

Curtis Fisher

Hello Curtis,

The issue that your partner is experiencing is caused by an issue with resolving the location of system style information.  Dee is running a system style that resembles a Mac operating system.  This should not cause an issue at all, but apparently our WPF Style resolving code has an issue.  We should have an update available later today that corrects this.  In the meantime, switching to one of the standard XP themes will allow Dee to run AppLife DNA.  I apologize for this inconvenience.  We'll get it corrected right away.
