Hi
I have to execute a stored procedure in script in sql server 2008, but update script fails...

"The procedure 'sys.sp_password' cannot be executed within a transaction."

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello,

 

If you take a look at the actions in the following solution lab, you can use these actions to perform SQL Server update activity outside of a transaction.
