The AppLife Update Controller contains built-in forms that allow an implementer to quickly implement a complete update process. This includes a form to check for updates, a form to download an update, and an error status form. The Update Interactive method of the Update Controller uses these forms. You can also use each of the forms individually.
The built-in update forms are localized to the following cultures:
• English (en-us) – default
• Chinese – Traditional (zh-CHT)
• French (fr)
• German (de)
• Italian (it)
• Japanese (ja)
• Spanish (es)
When AppLife Update enabled applications utilize the built-in user interface forms, the forms are localized for clients with these Windows versions.
Implementers that do not desire these localizations can remove the culture specific folders containing the localized resources from their application directory.
Customers who would like these user interface forms localized to their culture and are willing to perform the string translations can find information about this process at http://www.kineticjump.com/update/localization.aspx
