Shared Properties can be defined within the host application and passed into the update process as the update is initiated. This allows you to pass client-specific information into the update process and use this information to control the behaviors of update actions. Shared Properties can be used as part of Update Action conditional expressions as well as within dynamic actions and custom actions.
